Server Installation
When installing a server you have to make sure you get the configuration right first time, as sometimes it can be very difficult to make changes at a later date.
This is where we come in. With a vast experience with Microsoft operating systems (NT4, 2000 and Windows 2003) we can work with you to make sure you company gets the most from your server. With our experience you can rest assured the work will be carried out to the highest standards.
• Starting up the Server and setting up the operating system and installing the most up to date security patches
• Setup of Active directory (if required).
• Setup of shared folders (if required).
• Setup of networked printers (if required).
• Copying of existing data from old Servers to the new (If required).
• setup of backup routine (If required).
• Installation of security server software (if required).

Server Upgrades
Let us take the hassle out of installing upgrades. We can do this for you, we will check the suitability of the upgrade before the work is carried out. We will also carry out the upgrade either in your home or office, so you know it’s been done correctly and is ready to use. We can complete this work to suit your needs so the server is not down during normal working hours. Please see the list below to see what is included in the price. The cost of the upgrade installation does not include parts.
• Installation of the software / hardware upgrade
• Testing of the upgrade or peripheral to ensure that it is working correctly
On-Site PC Upgrade Charges: £35.00 per hour plus parts
Server Repairs
From time to time Server's can develop issues if not secured and used in the correct manner. Virus infection or a hardware issue are at the top of these issues. For all repairs we provide an initial diagnosis and estimate. If you are then happy to continue we will then complete the repairs onsite, ensuring that everything is working correctly before we leave. In most cases where there is no hardware fault we can complete the work in a single visit.
The cost of a Server Repair is calculated as below plus parts.
On-Site PC Repair Charges: £35.00 - per hour plus parts if required
Server Heath Check
It is ideal that you have scheduled times to perform security patching and testing of backups. We can conduct these tasks for you and out of hours so that your normal working day is not affected. Please see the list below to see what is included in the Server health check.
• Full virus scan and viruses removed if found.
• Full scan for Spyware and removal if found.
• Testing of backups (performing a test restore).
• Installation of the latest security patches.
Server Heath Check Charges: £60.00
Server Remote Support Call
In most instances a remote support call can be purchased. This will enable us to connect to your Server over the internet and fix your problem from our office. You will be able to see everything that is being done to resolve your problem. To use this facility you will be required to pay for a support call over the internet using your credit/debit card. Once we have received payment we will contact you immediately (usually within 5 minutes of the payment being made. The charge for this is £40.00per hour
